Melissa’s UK office is celebrating its eighth anniversary in April 2023.

Since launching in the UK in 2015, our London-based team has been providing sales, data consultancy and technical support for our wide range of software solutions that help organisations to achieve efficient contact data verification and management (data quality); and meet ID, Know your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.

Over the years the team have launched leading Melissa data quality and Identity verification services into the UK market, including:

Unison: A next-generation data quality platform. This software as a service (SaaS) platform requires no code, integration or training.

Address Autocomplete / Lookup: This tool gathers accurate address data in real-time at the customer onboarding stage by automatically providing a properly formatted, correct address as the user begins to input theirs.

Electronic ID Verification (eIDV): This service confirms ID by undertaking cross-checks against a person’s contact data, in real-time, as they complete an online application process. It does this by matching names, addresses, dates of birth, email addresses, or phone numbers against reputable data streams worldwide, such as government agency, credit agency and utility records.

Biometrics / ID document verification: Using optical character recognition (OCR) powered biometric technology this tool can check the validity of ID documentation in real-time and examines the image in the master ID documents with the selfie provided by the applicant or user to see if they match.
