Last week, the team had a fantastic time at Technology for Marketing 2018. It was fun-filled and jam packed two days but we couldn’t have wished for a better two days at the event.
Although, getting to Olympia London was a slight issue with train delays running havoc on the event schedule, the team all made it in piece for both days. With more than 100 technology marketing providers, the event attracted over 12,000 senior marketers and both days welcomed talks, interactive sessions and keynote presentations from industry leaders.
We set out planning for this event with two aims. Firstly, raising brand awareness was crucial so we partnered with Smart Display to create a simple yet eye catching display. Secondly, we wanted to highlight the importance of data quality within marketing and provided demonstrations and presentations on the potential disruption that inaccurate data could have on marketing campaigns but also on security of customers.
Coffees purchased, set up finished and smiles on our faces, the team were ready to face the crowd. We met some amazing companies from start-ups to long running companies, chatting to over 400 individuals about Melissa and our services. Our services clearly impressed with the enquiries pouring in (our pens and card holders were also a big hit!) Lots of individuals were also curious about who ‘Melissa’ was so watch out on the blog for a quick breakdown of our history! We also met some really impressive companies within the MarTech space and it was great to connect with these knowledgeable individuals.
The event was an overall success for the team and we’re already looking forward to attending again next year. In the next couple of days, we’ll be reaching out to all the individuals we met to help their businesses create a data-driven competitive advantage using Melissa services.
